Behind the Scenes of the Royally Big Portrait
I was hired by artist Sam Barnett to work with BBC Children in Need for the creation of a documentary showcasing the entire process surrounding the Royally Big Portrait - a national, record breaking initiative which saw hundreds of thousands of submissions of drawings of King Charles III - from children all over the country, which were all brought together to form one large portrait displayed at both the Outernet and National Portrait Gallery to celebrate the Coronation.
The final piece is still in post production, and is expected to go live on the first anniversary of the Royally Big Portrait’s launch - May 1st 2024.
